Critic darlings the World over: The National expectantly added more new dates to their upcoming US/Canada tour last week just before the Valentine's Day crush; and what a thoughtful present tickets could still be for your sweetie! We were excited to see that the band will be playing close by in NYC and Philadelphia (we wish it could still be at the TLA in Philly), but are most happily looking forward to the travel for when they play the starting dates of their tour for two days in Richmond, Virginia at the wonderful National Theater (and how fitting, we might add) from the 22nd to 23rd of April this year for the start of their tour. We had the opportunity to experience Morrissey play The National for his tour last year, and we loved the venue so we're heading back again! New dates below; the band plays Royal Albert Hall in London, England for the first time, as well as a spot at the coveted Radio City Music Hall in June, and the reformed Pavement in Paris, France! Both Aaron Dressner and Matt Berninger of The National have their work on the release for side-project The Clogs to look forward to (set for March of this year via Brassland) as well.
