Sky Drops'latest video Snow White gives us another look into the band's mysterious psyche when it comes to the layers in the music created for their latest album Bourgeois Beat, and the feelings that their songs are able to evoke. A dreamy angst in the images and The Sky Drops trademark soft-dirge and shoegaze are great accompaniment to the images that fit together to create the interesting and almost surreal landscape of their latest video. Don't miss the group tonight when they open for Adam Franklin & Bolts of Melody (Swervedriver, Magnetic Morning, Toshack Highway, etc.) at The Khyber (56 S. 2nd Street, Philadelphia).
We're looking foward to hearing tracks played live from Franklin's latest release I Could Sleep For A Thousand Years which should be the main highlight of tonight's set. This is one of the group's many east coast dates in a month-long tour that will last them into February and drive and fly them through to California, Vancouver BC, Michigan, Southwestern Ontario to Toronto, and back. Go to www.toshackhighway.com for more on Adam Franklin & The Bolts of Melody for their extensive tour. Tonight will also feature local faves Three 4 Tens and The Rarebirds.
