Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, opening for Oasis at Tweeter Center this past Friday night. The band made deadpan cracks to the audience about their guitarist's New Jersey roots, trying to egg the crowd on to cheering or jeering, mostly backfiring, but all-in-all a jovial attempt at keeping the crowd involved when most were waiting for Oasis to go on. The Cardinals are a great live band, and have a tight sound that seems to fit their mood on stage.
