In the great tradition of songs about a girl named "Victoria", you've got The Kinks (with a cover lovingly done by The Fall), Shane MacGowan's ex-girlfriend/fiancée (Victoria Clarke), and the ever popular police-trained "Crown Victoria" by Ford....or by Robbers On High Street (ROHS) if you prefer. And now, local Philly and Washington-based group Jukebox the Ghost have staked their own claim on the name, with a song of their own design called "Victoria". The band just completed the video for their track, taken off of their debut LP "Let Live and Let Ghosts" released earlier this year, and it debuts today on MTV2's Subterranean. For all of you piano-pop lovers--we know that you're out there, we have the video for you here. The band will be playing a few dates around town as usual, no doubt reenacting parts of the video on stage. We're actually kidding about that last part, but really, you never know...

This band is the shit. I'm not particularly inclined toward pop music, but both my roommate and I have become die hard jukebox fans.
