Philadelphia's The Mural & The Mint will play songs from their debut full-length album, titled "Private Pockets", tonight at L'Etage between 8pm and 10pm (cover is only $3). L'Etage is located on 7th and Bainbridge (above Beau Monde restaurant). The band is Michael Kiley (formerly of Cordalene), Eliza Jones (of Buried Beds) and Jack McBrearty (Falkonr). This will be the project's first full-length CD (watch this site for an official review closer to the album's official release date on November 18th), and the band previously released an EP of material as well that is available for download entitled "Caterpillar-Cocoon-Butterfly" (read GAT's review here). All The Mural & The Mint songs are made with free download and distribution in mind, and the band have been working very hard while also curating their own brand of artist and musical exhibits over the past year in order to raise the funds in order to create these beautiful new recordings. As a thank-you to their supporters for coming out to tonight's show at L'Etage for the new album's listening party, the band will upload their brand new full-length to your iPod for free! Don't miss this opportunity to come out and hear the brand new album first hand, and go home with your own copy of their new album as well! Jon Solomon hosted show Local Support leaked one of the album's tracks this week, titled "I Never Knew" (which you can hear by listening to Jon's show at City Paper online) or you can hear "Builders", the album's first single first-hand by clicking on the link below:
