As the Phillies game played, the music raged in the room next door. Mike Gent, Pete Donnelly and Pete Hayes of The Figgs played a raucous set (eventually leading to the band moving out onto the floor amongst the excited crowd) to a packed room of concert goers at the M Room last night, pulling selections from long-lost 45s to their album Palais, the re-released Couldn't Get High, as well as newer unreleased Donnelly-penned tracks and numbers from their most recently released full-length on Gern Blandsten, Follow Jean Through the Sea.
