According to The Sky Drops website, Rob Montejo and Monika Bullette make music together. Fact. It is also widely accepted that The Sky Drops make lovely music together. Witness their video for single "Hang On", a song which is featured on The Sky Drops "Clouds of People" debut EP. Featuring Delaware natives Rob on guitar and Monika on drums, the pair both share complimentary vocals that float along with the dreamy and drowsy lilt of the song. Don't let this song fool you into thinking this band is sleepy - on the contrary. If you have seen The Sky Drops live, you would see Rob's pedal board, probably the biggest one ever seen constructed by a single individual. You would also see that Monika is not only singing and playing drums, but handling mutli persussion instruments to boot. Rob is known around these parts for his distorted guitar effects that he beckons from his Fender, and Monika is pretty well known too for her past work with Nero and her current work with Bullette. Together they are creating a signature sound that is attractive to all kinds of fans, especially for those who like shoegaze, Britpop, garage, and psych. Be sure to catch them live, but for now you can get your fix here below. By the way, the video set is great - mid-century modern and spare - it compliments the song perfectly.

I'm hearting this video.
